Children in the Asembo Bay community gathered together.

Bringing hope and help to Kenya's women and children.

Asembo Bay Life Center is a humanitarian relief organization serving widows and orphans in western Kenya — through medical care, schooling, occupational training, and the good news of Christ.

What we do

From a small base on the shores of Lake Victoria, we walk alongside families who have lost a parent, a husband, or a means of making a living. Our programs are simple, local, and built on relationships.

We feed and school orphans, equip young women with skills, help widows farm and raise animals, and share the hope of the gospel — together, not separately.

The plight of Kenya's widows

In rural western Kenya, losing a husband often means losing a home, a livelihood, and a place in the community. Widows and their children are among the most vulnerable people we serve.

Through farming projects, animal programs, and direct support, we help widows feed their families and reclaim dignity.
